Dan Dare Reprints

When I was editing some of the later Dan Dare collections for Titan, I did suggest reprints of at least some of the 1980s Dan Dare, especially the early strips most of which were drawn by Ian Kennedy, but they weren’t convinced and clearly sales of the original weren’t good enough to justify continuation beyond the Frank Bellamy drawn stories such “Terra Nova”.

Which is a shame as they’d almost reached the point of reprinting Dare strips that have never been collected.

With some help from Jeremy Briggs and Richard Sheaf, I created this full checklist of Dan Dare strips here as a GoogleDoc if anyone’s interested: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AqOAfjYkhjTkdGc1eTNGek1ueGFkQ0JvZEJ6TjdNQ0E&usp=docslist_api

THIS IS IMPORTANT.

wow.. the fucking story line. speechless.

It’s such an important time for this film to come out.

It’s so easy for the film idustry to show people we fought against in the past as real people. But it’s something new to put a face a name and a story to the people that so many of us see as the enemy.

Please watch the trailer. This’ll stir up a lot of shit with the american public but I have a good feeling about this movie.
